During the 2013-14 school year we worked hard to implement programs to improve instruction and student learning. This included a new teacher and administrator evaluation tool that, for the first time, connects student achievement to evaluations. Our Sweet Home Leadership Academy conducted learning walks in classrooms and all schools used Professional Learning Community teams to assess data to use to make decisions to improve instructional practice and student achievement.
This year we will continue our focus on improving the three R's; Rigor, Relevance and Relationships by seeking continued improvement on professional development for teachers and administrators. We will make efforts to develop District PLC teams as well as maintain school level PLC teams.
