• Start Time Change for 2011-2012 School Year
  Hawthorne students will begin school next year
  at 7:40 am. Students should not arrive before
  7:25 am, as there is no assigned supervision then.
  Kinder through 3rd grade will be released at
  1:55 pm and 4th through 6th graders will be
  released at 2:00 pm.
  These changes are to accommodate the new
  busing schedule for Sweet Home School District.

The tentative grade level configurations and assignments for the 2012-2013 school year will be coming home this week in the May newsletter. Grade level assignments for teachers are tentative and are subject to change as the enrollment fluctuates or as staffing changes. When making a teacher request for next year please put in the e-mail (ryan.beck@sweethome.k12.or.us) or the written request the academic reason for the placement. If you have any questions about the process please do not hesitate to contact me at 541-367-7167.

Hawthorne needs parents to be active and involved with our PTC for the 2012-2013 school year. The two main Hawthorne parents who run the PTC will not be involved with it next year so if you are interested in playing a role in Hawthorne's PTC please contact Mr. Beck at 541-367-7167.
